Newport Ventures, in conjunction with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) provides training and education for New York’s building professionals on topics related to the New York State Energy Code. With the 2015 IECC coming into effect in October, the time to get a grasp on the code is now! Newport has courses available for both Code Enforcement Officials and Construction Trade professionals.
**CEU’s and other training credits will be available for each course and will vary based on the topic and target audience of the training.

HOME ENERGY HEROES
Our newly launched Home Energy Heroes program recognizes builders and trade contractors who are investing in education and training to stay up to date with the Energy Code, learn new building practices, and help ensure quality, efficient, and durable homes for New Yorkers. Builders and trade contractors who attend our classes are listed on HomeEnergyHeroes.com, where consumers can go to find quality contractors for whatever service they may need.
