BUILDER COURSE: Documenting Energy Code Compliance

This highly engaging course will help industry understand how to clearly and effectively document energy code compliance.  It will include a live interaction using a set of plans (sample set or set provided by builder) to examine common errors, best practices, and code expectations for residential building plans.  In addition, the course will cover other energy code documentations topics such as the basic concepts of required field tests (building envelope airtightness, duct leakage, and ventilation air flow) and how to document and communicate the results of these tests.  Builders will be encouraged to bring plan sets.
