Transitioning from Code Compliant to High Performance: Strategies for Residential Buildings

This course will be instrumental in helping residential builders and architects move from simply complying with the Energy Code to incorporating high performance construction technologies and practices. The course will consist of two major parts: 1.Technology transfer or technologies that allow for a relatively easy and cost-effective transition to above-code performance: and 2.The business case for making this transition – such as marketing (or not) high performance to your customers, risk reduction via high performance practices, and high performance = high quality.
